Today I want to announce some things, that you are going to witness in the next weeks:

As you probably know, I am researching the possibilities for classical musicians, on how to self distribute and self promote CDs on the big streaming platforms (Spotify, Apple Music, Amazon Music, Deezer, etc.) This is an exciting experiment and I want to give you the chance to witness every step, so that you can do it as well, or at least gather some insights into the process if you are not a musician yourself.

So this is the plan: I will publish Schuberts: "Auflösung" as a single.
A beautiful song in a recording that never has been published.
I will keep you posted here and on Instagram and will also produce a YouTube video about it. (On my artist channel and on Profound Singing)

But I need you too in order to succeed. If you want to get involved, it would be great, if you did the following things, when they are happening (nothing will cost you anything, It is a win-win. You will get the insights and some beautiful music for free and I will profit by having momentum through your engagement).

This is what you have to do:

1. Follow me on Spotify now (the link is also in my bio)

2. After I post my pre-save campaign, next week or so, you will be able to save my song in your library and on the release day it will be there to listen to it. Please do it!

3. On the 1st of March (Release day): Listen to the song at least for 30 seconds - It is a really nice Schubert song in a good version, so you might want to listen to it in it's entirety 😉 - it's worth it...

4. Share my Schubert related posts or/and the song on your socials (so it gets some momentum and triggers the Spotify algorythm) - this is going to be the hard one for a classical release, but if we use our power of the collective, it might be possible (I only say: GAME STOP)

This is going to be fun...

Although we never want to speak about these things, I know, that it is a part of the job to deal with those nightmares. And I am sure all of you have experienced something similar. So I am not afraid to talk about it.

Today I am working on editing the next three videos for my channel. I did a survey last December and found out that there is some demand for Q&A / AMA videos. And so I went to town..

Here are some of the pictures I used and my thumbnail designs. (They are not 100% correctly displayed because of the Instagram restrictions, but you`ll get the drift...
I use Canva, by the way. Absolutely awesome and free. (I use the premium version though, because you get even more designs and stuff. I did my Monster videos with Canva too -check out my IGTV)
